Hey there, sorry for the not-very-long absence, I've been out almost everyday whenever the weather is as lovely as me. freo-city-belmount-gardencity-dinner-movies-etcetc. havta really treasure the last few days of my 5-weeks-break before uni starts again sigh.
well after staying 2 days in Dunedin, we left for
Queenstown, one of the most famous place of interest in New Zealand, I reckon.
remember me saying I had terrible toothache in Dunedin? went for dentist and it totally costs me a bomb. well after that the dentist asked me to get my own painkiller in a pharmacy nearby. I know I'm allergy to one of them, but don't really remember which brand. So I bought Nurofen.

while we were on our way to Queenstown, wasting our time doing nth, I had this sudden premonition that something real bad's gonna happen to me. But finally i fall asleep (as usual) after staring into the blank space for 2983374years.
when I woke up, I realised that my vision was very very blur.. and narrow. The feeling was complicated yet uncomfortable.
Define allergy?BEHOLDDDDDDDDDD!

define suay?
so yes my eyes went so swollen that I could hardly see anything. I quickly took out my contact lenses. bought anti-histamine in a pharmacy nearby. butta the allergic reaction only went away after like 12 hours? Notice my right eye swelled at the eye lid, left eye swelled at the eye bag, how fun!
my swollen pig-like eyes just sucked up all my confidence of me. I didn't even dare to look the receptionist of our backpacker into his eyes when he was helping us to check in sigh.
ohya btw Southern Laughter is the first backpacker that I stayed in nz.
Queenstown has almost everything for a perfect vacation.
loadsa food,

altho it's quite pricey but me loving it loads and loads!

and thai food too!

loadsa stuff to buy

loadsa souvenirs with reasonable price! regret for not buying more.
note i still have swollen eyes in this photo.
loadsa stuff to do (well as long as u can pay)
poor students like us only pay for Mildford Sound tour and Skiing lesson.
Mildford Sound is ehem.. a river? A river surrounded by mountains, and the water is crystal clear that u can see the reflection of the mountains on it. Oh there are waterfalls too! Ahh I suck in description lar so what.
It was a full day trip, we took 34908347 hours of bus to a small harbour. I must admit that the scenery along the road trip was awesome!

see what I mean?
the bus driver even stopped so that we had the chance to.. explore snow? lol.
gosh this is my second time touching snow with my bare hands after 23093473486 years ago in Japan.

and the conclusion is still the same. the texture of snow is exactly the same as ais batu kacang. Ppl just wont believe me so Ive given up in convincing ppl la haih.

it doesn't look real at all right?
and then we went on a cruise and our journey began =)

I didn't really get to see the so called reflection of mountains on the river bla bla bla, but well the trip is very relaxing. we were just too busy enjoying the muffins and pumpkin soup provided (it's free ma!) and excited to be in a boat. we're just jakuns what to do.

we got even more excited when the boat went terumbang-ambing (omg my malay is still very good can!).

some even thought that they were in titanic the movie.
and and and
I saw DOLPHINSSSS!

dolphins are sooooo cute! i was in a rush to take their photo that I knocked onto the deck and got bruises for my leg.
the whole trip is.. $110? Correct me if i'm wrong I don really remember already la.
And YES we went
skiing! at
Coronet Peak.

It's a very special experience for me, I totally enjoyed it although others were constantly complaining how tiring it is.
We were provided the clothes and all the equipment. We paid for 2 lessons, taught by a 60-year-old guide (what's his name again?). He's very friendly and cute! Altho we totally suck in skiing, he was being so encouraging he never feel bored dragging us back to our position when we just skied to another world of our own hahaha

who wanna go skiing again with me? =p
ohya the 2 ski lessons, including transport, equipment, clothing are about $195. there goes our $$$
meanwhile Jai and Moli went for Bungee Jumping together, so nice! which inspires me to force Miss Sarah to have the reverse bungee with me in Auckland heh.
and there was this winter festival the second day we were there! so nice can! everyone went on the street and celebrated together, there was fireworks too but we were having dinner in a thai restaurant, food is so so so so so much more important than fireworks okay so we just ignored although even the cook and staff rushed out to admire it haha.
omg this is such a long post
at night we went to Minus 5 Bar too!

A bar made of ice, i mean everything!
the chair

we had to wear the humongous jacket provided as the temperature maintained in the bar is only minus 8?
even the glass!

we paid 35bucks for 30mins in the bar, provided one glass of alcoholic cocktail.

the deco

I remember ordering a cocktail named "flu remedy" and yucks it really tastes like one. but I started loving it after having more into my stomach.

the table

Don't ask me y my tongue and lips never stick to the cup u guys watch too much Happy Tree Friends!
So jom go to Queenstown again! =D
