Oh Mi Gosh..

This is the touchest post ever T.T

hey gal,thanks for making my day =) u do know how much u mean to me as well dont u? Yeshh,arguments have become part of our life and to be frank, i would feel as if im missing something when u're angry at me and refused to talk to me =P

Somehow, im not worried cuz im pretty sure.. nah, VERY sure we're gotta be fine, we better be! i dont want to lose u,never will!

Welll i am now officially 21 ^^

LOL, i didnt get to celebrate on that day much cuz i was gonna sit for tests after that. BUT..

=))))))

My lovely friends have never failed to put a smile on my face =D

Early in the morning, some of my floormates came to my room for a lil surprise haha (it's really hard to surprise me after so many surprise party we threw for our floormates! =P) Yuko woke up 5.30 that morning to make me my FAVOURITE eggtarts and i swear it's the best eggtart i've ever ever ever tried! Nigel, being my hou heng dai made me porridge (kakaka, i was the one who forced him to learn cooking porridge at the very first time) Ahhhhh i feel blessed. Like seriously can!

with candles on the eggtarts, they sang me bday song and everything =) Thanks yuko,nigel,vivian,kristian,ken boy,dominic,Rocky.. for the surprise!

I had lectures from 8-5 on my Bday, yeshh,long day on my bday k,ta ma de. Got some presents from my classmates.. But nothing from my malaysian friends, my close friends in uni weiii =~( Redzy didnt even wish me omg omg. Was overwhelmed with disappointment cuz i was expecting at least a bday card from them ma.. ( konon laaaa busy tests)

But hey ^^ On our way back home from uni, when we walked past a parking space at the road side, suddenly 3 of my other msian friends popped up with a bday cake singing me a bday song (summore so damn loud at the road side, i swear this one kiwi uncle standing next to us was quite shocked hiak hiak hiak) Awwwww, i thought they forgot =P Hehehee, headed to san's to have cake =)

Thanks san, redzy, ain, rahim, kina, viveon!! I am really glad to have you guys here in nz with me. Last year we were really close and you guys took good care of me. Pretty much spoiling me already can.. i was kinda worried that we cant be as close as last year cuz we're not staying together anymore, nevertheless, i still feel the warmth and the strong bond between us. thanks guys ^^

When i got back to my room, there're presents outside my dooooooooor ^^ Wah,sibeh happie ok! Yuko gave me a big bag of present! yesssh,there are about 3 items in it! thankssss hun! Handmade card from CHENG yiiiiiiiii (she has a blog now and it seems like she's very excited about it. LOL ill give u 2 weeks to get over it, we'll see if u're still a hardout blogger by then) with a present from the malaysian juniors!! ( thanks ah vian, cheng cheng, lynn, dom and ken boy ) this group of juniors are really fun to be with, thanks for the great company in the hall!!!!!!!! and when i was sick it was them who took care of me and cooked me porridge ^^ kamsiah la! another handmade card from nigel Woooo~~ i want a present from u and ann ann okayyy!

at night..!!!!! err,study? =.=" i know i know so pathetic can! LOL, something funny happened on 11-ish though, san texted me " i think i dropped sth in ur bag,could u plz check if u can find it? it's blue in colour" i checked and replied " i couldnt find anything in blue except for the card kai sheng gave me, i am sorry is it important? " San.. " sarah,check all the compartment" I replied "alreadyyy,what's that? notes?" hahaaaa san was a bit pekchek dy " IT's a card from me to u la! u sure it's kaisheng's card?"

Tada~! she put a card with a necklace in it.. and guess what? it's a key shaped pendant LOL,my first key didnt even come from mom but u! girl,u know u're gonna be my bestest friend here in nz! =)

Friday.

Med malaysian students went for lunch =)) We went to this Thai restaurant where the food is definitely one of those cheapest and tastiest restaurant here in auckie! oh my god, green curry tomyum, prawn, chicken.. AHHHHH so goood and i didnt have to pay cuz they shared up my bill,thanks!!

then me san ain zy and ks went shopping and guessssssssssssssss what!!! Zy remembered i wanted a pair of boots and so they brought me to the store and asked me to pick one as my present.. T.T sibeh touched. Unfortunately,there's none i like and soooooo ain suggested to go glasson =P yeayyyyy! zy picked me a top,so pretttttttyyyyyy on me wuahahhaa. and there's another coat that i find it really nice which costs 90 bucks. mummmmy.. can i can i?

Oh my im so blessed!!! At night, my friend shouted me dinner at sky city. speechless. the food the environment. indescribable.

AND last but not least, there's this one person wrote a post for me on my bday,thanks ^^ and thanks for the card and present! oh my, i realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly like the present and the cd. Thank you! Not just for these but for all the things u done for me. Thanks for being there for me always.. and........ Sorry if i always disappoint you.

See who's the subject today? 10:07:00 PM

I was actually planning to do some readings and cook some desserts after that BUT someone's words struck me that I needa put away whatever I'm doing and start writing this.

The whole world knows we are best friends. Ehem I mean u and me la u moron.

and of cause we are! but we do quarrel occasionally, well I mean OFTEN, although we don't see each other everyday like how we used to be, there's still something for us to argue over. hence ur previous post hehe.

but that doesn't create cracks in our friendship, instead, the unspoken bond grows stronger and stronger without us even realising it.

ohmy have u counted how many silly things we've done together?

I once thought hey maybe starting a joint blog with u (with adv attached!) may let others think that our friendship is commercialised for fame and money. but why bother? we are just happy to let everyone knows that how blessed we are to have each other, right?

despite it is a known fact, I still wanna say that u have been a very very ultra super duper triple good friend. U treat me so well that my expectation towards "friend" increases incredibly over the years now I find it very hard to accept when others ignore me or treat me as solely hi-bye friend. And of cause I think I'm very kind to u also la okay.

People come in and out of our lives, but u never leave. or oh maybe u try but ur bochiness stops u from doing so haha. but that's not the point okay,! the point is we're still in each other's priority list no matter what happens. and that's something I should really treasure in this world where hypocrisy and individualism have veiled one's sincerity and passion.

I still remember vividly last winter how sad u were over the phone when I rang u while walking down the street in Sydney, for the friend that u trusted so much, ignored u for another person. Ironically, I was the one shedding tears this year but I'm luckier to have u by my side at my darkest moments. So.. are we even now? =p

We went for the sky screamer together in front of hundreds of kiwis in the middle of Aucky city and hugged each other so tightly right after that as if we just survived World War III. How fun is that! This proves that we can do some really different things TOGETHER besides gossiping, camwhoring, cracking lame jokes, shopping, watching movies and admiring lengcais who pass by.

The last hug we had right before I went on the bus, leaving Aucky, is so sincere and true that I'll never forget that.

And we don't love each other just because we're single! We know that gals who neglect friendship for guys are truly idiotic. Because no matter what happens in the future, like.. break up la, get pregnant and being forced to abort la, abused by bf la, divorce because of husband doesn't like sushi la, besides family, we have each other to back ourselves up.

Hey I'm serious. I wonder how many bffs can do what we did, serious.

The funniest part is we never tell each other how much we treasure our friendship FACE TO FACE. We text, we msn, we leave offline msg, we send friendster msg, we send cards, but we never do it FACE TO FACE o.m.g. I guess that'll be so freaking awkward that we refuse to talk to each other for a few months.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

u are lovable so I guess there are loads of friends and admirers waiting to celebrate this second special day after Beijing Olympic with them. aih what description is that.

okay i have been quite lazy and keji..

My previous two posts were full of pictures and becoming less and less wordy already.. =P

I actually wanted to post about my august babies birthday party that my floor organized for all the august babies on our floor. BUT if i started to post all the pics, i would subconsciously.. writing less and less. Hence, the delay of the birthday post kayy =)

Hmm, lately, i have been thinking.. *CHIMMM topic*

I reckon me is blessed. Happened to live the life im living now.
Having so many people care about me, being there for me. U know who you are.
And out of a sudden i came to realize that.. i am really bad in keeping promises and keeping in touch. Yessssshhh i just realized that..

I think.. okay personally i think if a friend happened to be with me, he/she would be incredibly appreciated and spoilt. Cuz im a super bochi girl and thus my friend normally gets what she/he wants from me. And i think im quite caring ( hehe to be honest ma) and sensitive? And i don't mind doing all sorts of crazee things with her/him and even if i got insulted/teased i would take it all..for the sake of a good laugh i supposed.

Okay enough of bodek-ing myself..

But when someone/something get out of my sight.. i tend to.. neglect them?

And is that the reason why i often feel regret?
When i finally lose something/someone which were there all along without me realizing.. until the day they left me?

HMMMMMM,very 'bahaya'..

The more i think about it, the more 'thinking' i'll do and i will eventually think about it again and again.. and the vicious cycle goes on. okkk lah, my point is.. i dont like to do all these 'emo thinking' it makes me emo.

But.. if u know me well enough, u should be able to tell where u stand in my heart right? i guess it's just me.. i am not very good in doing these things.. writing email,sending cards/texts.. orrrrrrrrrrrr im too spoilt that i thought i dont have to do all these and naive-ly believe that "so long as u know i care about you,that's more than enough ma! " ?

Somehow recently few things happened that struck me. I thought if we're close enough, we do not have to keep in touch as often as it may seems and yet we still got each others' back.. i know where i can turn to when im sad, who to share my happiness with when im ecstatic.

WRONG SALAH.

Yessshh because now... once again, i realize that distance..!! distance!! does make a lil impact. Yeah i know if 2 persons are willing to make a lil bit more effort, distance is never a problem.. DENG DENG DENG.. again, with a lazy person like me.. the effort that i have made will never be enough for those of you who expect more from me.

like seriously, never..

but there are just some people who can accept me for who i am.. is it because i am not as close to them and hence they never care if i dont keep in touch , or is it simply because they have better temper?

i always expect something from someone, but i hahahaha, sumtimes 'forget' that some people are expecting something from me too.

I should make more sacrifices from now onwards i think..

1+: Once upon a time, there's a queen stays in a town named Wanaka (II) 12:15:00 AM

overdue post. written on 7th august.

to be frank, I almost gave up in blogging my nz trip, too many things to write, too many photos to sort 3.74Gb can u imagine that, but our darling yichin told me she's anticipating for my welly post! so I shall continue posting real nice photos no matter u've started to feel bored heh.

well after Queenstown, we went to Wanaka, an ultra small town to the north. another 5 hours bus haih. This time I was free from any allergy which fuglised me, but I tried to be diligent so I read novel in the bus, which resulted in travel sickness and DENG I vomited. while everyone was sleeping like a log T__T

luckily the bus driver stopped just in the nick of time. I rushed down and threw out basically everything that made up my stomach space. when I had finally done with it and was walking back to the bus, I saw a few tourists taking photo of the sky and.. tree?

I was like "freak.. what's so nice about the trees anyway? totally weird". but in the end I joined them =.=

and I took this!

Wanaka is all about Stuart Landsborough's Puzzling World.

as we only planned to stay in Wanaka for a night, as soon as we settled down in our backpackers Purple Cow (what name is that right? hmm), we asked for direction to Puzzling World.

the friendly receptionist told us Oh puzzling world ey, it's pretty near, walking distance from here blabla. And we believed her. whole heartedly.

Okay i shouldn't speak like she lied or something, maybe 35 mins walk is still walking distance to kiwi?

yea 35 mins! and it was up and down hills again.

we saw this on the way there.

a very typical kiwi scenery. countless sheep and cows munching grass
y la they forever eating one? cannot comprehend.

Puzzling World is basically divided into 2 parts. The Maze and Illusion World. We walked 35mins there so we die die also wanna play both! haha

before entering The Maze, the staff told us that the washrooms are worth a visit.

we were like =.= but we went anyway bcoz we are jakuns ma.

then we realised that there were loads of illusion photos along the way to washrooms. those we usually see in forwarded emails.

There were more surprises in front of the washrooms!

There were benches with holes, reckon that was how ancient toilets look like, and the wall is painted as if the benches are connected to another world. with a few angmoh lengcais having their own sweet time too =p

it looks so real that I couldn't resist myself from touching his umm...
I wonder what's the thing in his hand. hmm.

and even the toilet bowls are different, no kidding.

if u are an ocean lover, u can go for this.

oh wait, u prefer flowers?

or ur butt is just as sweet as jelly bean?

well if u think u're so wealthy sometimes u don und y and u have got sick with golden toilet bowls, u can try this.

I think nobody will try this right?

okay enough of toilets and ass,

I personally think that The Maze is very poorly constructed.

The walls are made of wood. and what we have to do was just to reach 4 different towers through the maze. Well it's not easy but it's boringgggg.

I got bored after like.. 15mins, but the ego in me asked me not to take the emergency exit. After that 6 of us were somehow split, me lw and yt one group, jai moli and yf another group.

but hohoho unfortunately we came out WAY EARLIER than them hahahaha. We waited in the shop until the point that we got bored too and called them, who were still trapped in the maze LOL.

Illusion World amazed me more if u ask.

it starts with a series of photographs which can be viewed from different angle as if it's 3D. Some look like they can move, but when u touch, it's just a piece of photo. Didn't take photo there, sorry, it was kinda crowded and u can only experience the magic by looking at the photo while moving left to right, so no point taking photos la.

And then we came to Hall of Fame. with staring faces.

Can u imagine many identical Einstein staring at u? seriously scary.

the walls are made up of many identical famous faces. One with Mother Theresa, another with Einstein and etc. The blocks are just plastic mold of their distinctive facial feature. They were expressionless if u see with both eyes.

But when u view them using one eye, as in 2D la, they appear as scary staring faces. and it looks like their vision never leave u wherever u walk.

see! so many Einsteins' looking at me T_T

we got freak out so we went to another.. um.. I don really remember, angle problem world? haha

well everything is just not right there. sometimes u look shorter, the ball rows and water flows upwards with only gravity force,

and u look senget no matter how hard u try to stand straight.

sooo confusing.

I got so dizzy after that, seriously.

and there was this room u can turn tall or short, as u like =p

after that there's this sort of play ground for us, with loadsa different games provided, such as puzzles and crosswords. No I didn't manage to solve any.

Wanaka has the most breathtaking scenery ever! the lake wanaka, it's just beyond description.

I'm the photographer. heh.

it was taken the morning before we left. Jai and Moli back to Dunedin, and us to Frans Josef. we didn't really have teary good bye, but I felt real sad to leave them coz having them around is so so so so fun la.

will always remember both of u. Jai and Moli =)

Bus to Frans Josef. Stopped by a salmon farm and I had smoked salmon pizza for lunch.

conclusion is, fresh salmon is always better than smoked ones. blek.

in case u didn't notice, I'm getting lazy to write more.

then the bus stopped again at some random place (places that i don remember is random place haha).
