1+: fremantle and ignorance. 11:03:00 PM

easter break is finally here people!!!!

This isn't exactly the right time for me to throw away the books and shop till I drop because there are still another 2 mid term tests (3 for Sarah) coming up right after the break. I think uni just cleverly uses "easter" as a nicer word to replace "study" ish.

but anyway the 1st few days of break are definitely days for random outings *evil grin*

Fremantle is one of them =)

So there I was, waking up early in the morning to take an hour bus there just for the famous fish and chips, with the gals.

Cicerello's fish and chips are always the best! but this time the seafood doesn't give me the "WUUUWAAA OMG SO NICE" impression anymore hmm. We got ourselves 4 big plates of different seafoods and ate like as if there's no tomorrow despite the fact that there are a few lengcais nearby hhahahaha.

Garlic prawn

and chili mussels.

And after that with 2 scoops of Gelati's ice cream in our hands, we walked around the park where there was this Indian Carnival, I suppose. There were loads of stalls selling different Indian food and goods, and there was this Indian performance too, Indian songs by Indian and Caucasian =.=

It's like the whole Indian community of Perth was there. And I never knew that there are actually that much Indian here!

At the other end of the road, we bumped into a few interesting people.

Photobucket

A stationary Miss Cowboy (or Cowgirl?) who will only be awaken by the sound of coins dropping into her metallic brown kettle.

I dropped 1 buck into the kettle and got to hold her arms to take photo with her! but I looked fugly so lalala.

Photobucket

and a talkative street performer. The picture shows a lady throwing flaming torch to the guy. Honestly, it doesn't impressive me at all LOR.

Fremantle Market is the last stop before heading home. This market never fails to surprise me with all the weird cute funny stalls selling all the weird cute funny stuff, giving me the weird cute funny feeling okay u prolly got what I mean. My point is it's very different from our pasar payang ok.

Let's see..

we have

Photobucket

uber cute piggy-nosed baby tissue box (okay so I made the name up so what)

and clown-mouthed baby tissue box

a set of delicious looking teaspoons

And guess what are these

whatever you're thinking, I'm 75% sure that you are salah. They are SOAPS! 100% hand made soap!

Aren't they lovely? and tempting as well haha. The whole shop is full of big and small sweet-looking soap cakes and biscuits. I only managed to take photo of these 2 before the fierce shop owner said "no cameras allowed". She was actually talking to another person but I was too bochi to continue, influenced by Sarah haih.

I was dead tired when I reached home that I fall asleep right after my head touched the pillow. and guess what, after forcing myself to wake up from the short nap to prepare dinner, I was then only told that I was preparing for noone but myself.

I don't get it. A $0.15 simple text will make things so much more easier. and nobody seems to care, busy is definitely not an excuse. and no apology received. If I've been informed slightly earlier, I didn't have to rush home early and wake up from my nice nap to cook dinner when I wasn't even feeling hungry. People just don't think, do they?

I'm not obliged to cook and wait for anyone to confirm whether my food will be entertained or not ok.

ohwells, what do I expect, this is not the first time.

assume = you make an ass out of u and me.
