White blouse too transparent and encourages rape, says National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia

A students association has condemned the uniform worn by girls at government schools, saying it encouraged rape and premarital sex.
“The white blouse is too transparent for girls and it becomes a source of attraction,” National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia vice-president Munirah Bahari said in a statement yesterday.

“It becomes a distraction to men, who are drawn to it, whether or not they like looking at it,” she said, calling for a review of uniform policy so that it did not violate Islamic ideals.

Female students at government schools have a choice of wearing a white blouse with a knee-length skirt or pinafore.

They may also wear a ‘baju kurung’ which is a traditional long top and skirt, and a headscarf is optional for Malay students.

Munirah said that ‘covering up’ according to Islamic precepts was important to fend off social ills including “rape, sexual harassment and even premarital sex which involve schoolgirls in their teens”.

“All this leads to babies born out of wedlock and to an extent, even prostitution,” she said.

“Decent clothes which are not revealing can prevent and protect women from any untoward situations,” she said, suggesting that girls wear a blouse of a different colour or with an undergarment.

However, the girls themselves also came in for criticism, with the association saying some used the white blouse to lure men.

“This is the source of the problem, where we can see that schoolgirls themselves are capable of using this to attract men to them,” Munirah said.

“This could see them getting molested, having premarital sex and all sorts of things.” — AFP

Our miss Munirah is too pathetic to be a female lah. Her marvelous opinion shows nothing but how narrow minded she is, oh and she's quite humble too. well u see it's NOT solely rapist's fault u know for raping gals around, it's we gals' bad for wearing white school uniform! we should be ashamed of ourselves okay!

cant she see that the problem comes from the guy? the education system? but not we freaking gals omg.

wei ah meng (i assume all chinese guys that i dunno is ah meng) don touch here don there okay! we malaysian do NOT allow such intimate body contact i tell u!

it's like blaming all the drug abuse cases on pharmacists la.

i somehow found pathetic munirah's blog and the latest post she has is to clarify what she said. and guess what her explanation is getting more and more ridiculous i almost chocked myself with my own saliva.

There are a lot of teachers who admit that they find the female students' indecent clothing very distracting. it can also make them feel uncomfortable.

omg so psycho la all these teachers, i mean how distracting and indecent school uniform can be? oh please tell me which school she got the survey from, i swear i'll not freaking send my kids there, even if they have lengcai teachers or they can 202% guarantee that my kids will get 923892347 A1 for upsr/pmr/spm/stpm/pms p2p myfm whatevershitla, there'll be a big NO, never and ever!!

and her "a lot of" is so vague and not reliable can, it's like maybe she got those opinions from teachers in her own pure black (since she doesnt like white, well..) dream one fine night.

surprisingly there ARE actual homo sapiens supporting her say. in the comments part. but i reckon it maybe her family or friends who use multiple usernames to help her haha i'm so mean can!

can u imagine ur secondary school graduation photo to be like this?

haha the guy is even squatting down to take the photo for the best angle! uncle it wont make difference la wei, the only thing that can differentiate them is their heights haha.

so think, after my sis graduates (she's still in form 3 now), and takes photo with her school mates, when she shows me i'll be like "eh which one is u ar?", she'll point to one of the black figures and say "neh the one on the left ar u cant recognise ur own sis?", then i'll say "r u sure that's u? u're not supposed to look that tall" (bcoz my sis is quite short haha). then she'll get pekchek and she'll use different colour of markers to label each of the person in the photo haha.

ohh! and maybe next time the price for printing photos increases coz the shop has to use a lot of black ink to print ma, so have to charge more lor bo pian.

if my sis was to wear this, haha, the only benefit that she'll get is she'll become super duper ulttra fair can! wa that time if she gets fairer than me she sure slaps me on the face and says "nah! serve u right, always say that i'm ohh bak ke (black chicken, [she's born in the chinese lunar year of chicken ma]) la!"

but then she'll be hospitalised lotsa times la i guess coz she'll constantly experience heatstroke hahahaha. y la i keep taking my own sis as the what-if example for this ridiculous case.

aiya whatever lah. we shall not let ourselves get angry over craps by pathetic lil gal who comes out from Gua Niah and saw our school uniform and screamed "omg u all are wearing transparent white uniform?! THAT'S SO SINFUL, we cavians only wear black that's y there's no rapist in our cave, not a single one" *proud* right?

have nothing much to update recently.

note: photos uploaded are completely mou la lang with this post. they are some random photos from my hp hehe

laptop went completely dead a few days ago that i had to send it to friend's house to repair for 2 days haih. 2 consecutive days without internet and solitaire and drama series and itunes and msn and fb. the 2nd most torturing thing to do after having pharm exams.

but my suffer seems to get paid. it gets soooo much better now, lags occasionally where my tolerance and patience still can stop me from pulling my hair while shouting at the laptop.

so buying a new laptop is inevitable already! any suggestion? =p

last few nights i had weird dreams. mostly vague but the clearest that i can remember is.. vincent gets married. no, NOT perthy vincent U, NOT intecian vincent GOH, but our kay tee genggie LIM VINCENT hahahaha.

quite creative huh >.<

it's like this fine day i was wearing a white tee and denim shorts, on my way to ming long's house which is right above his shop, suddenly everyone came down from the stairs and vincent was wearing this white tuxedo hooo~waaa with a bride (which i don remember her face at all, sorry vincent i really try very hard to help!) beside him, heading to a white car, with lotsa flower pedals flying in the air (wth?).

i looked so jakun coz everyone was either wearing decent suits or gown with really really shinny luxurious jeweleries.

i woke up before seeing them say "i do" but im pretty sure i'll have the chance to witness the real one right vincent? lol

woke up one random morning and saw this. seriously!

speaking of hot choc i went to this guild place in curtin for a cup of hot choc this morning. there was this angmoh lady right in front of me in the Q. so this indian gal served her so nicely with such a broad smile and even some jokes. but when it got to my turn, this very lovely indian gal suddenly went so serious and cold in serving me as if i owe her or sth.

i don really get it, i wasn't speaking manglish or engrish at all, and i think i looked quite decent that time okay i don care if u're a local or whatsoever, well u're still an indian anyway so please pleaseeeeeee respect us asians okay. if we asians already treat each other this way, how do we expect caucasians not to do the same to us? haih racists will never grow up, will they?

ohya ive changed the poll to sth nerdy to suit my image hahaha.
well umm to be honest for the last poll, the qns "who has a larger stomach?" which means who can eat more, the ans shld be me fellow blogders!! sarah only eats half, sometimes even less, of my meal u know, but still she's louder than me hahaha.

sarah: angel gone wild.. 3:25:00 PM

Okay last week we had this hall event 'pod crawl' =) we took 1000++ photos but am too lazy to upload all!

so here it goes.. 'pod crawl' is similar to the idea pub crawl, it's just that instead of going from pub to pub, we had it on our floor. each unit is called a pod. and so we basically moved from pod to pod.

We have to set a theme for each unit on our floor. And soo, being a angelic doctor, i suggested psychiatric ward =)

I is no understanding (Kok 08) 8:02:00 PM

MY *insertwhatevervulgarwords* LAPTOP (refused to use "lappie" coz that sounds tooooo cute for it now) IS SO PISSING ME OFF NOW!!!!!

I have an assignment due tmr morning and my laptop decided to have fun with me now. It's like it lags right after I type 2 words YES FREAKING 2 WORDS and I'll have to stare at the screen, cursing the laptop inventor or whatever makes it laggy (but definitely not myself) and oh it's working again and continue typing another 2 or 3 words and the cycle goes on.

oh my what I've done to deserve all these right now?! okay I know it's solely my bad but laptop u see u can go spoil after this, during study week or when I go to nz, but NOT NOW o-m-g.

I swear I'll get a new laptop the moment I reach Malaysia end of this year and throw this into some laptop blender and crush and blend it into powder (I don't think it'll become liquid coz afterall it's metal unless I use heat haha see I'm so nerd wth) and throw them into the sea near batu buruk! ish so pekchek can! no I'll save a fingertip of powder to show my new laptop the consequences of disobeying 1+ the evil muahahaha.

okay evil thought can bring me nowhere. I shall now start blogging about some embarassing stuff that I did today, as usual haih.

as a dedicated blogger like me, I tend to take photo whenever I find something nice/funny/cool/interesting. And that includes my grocery shopping session haha.

so this not-very-fine morning I went to become a fortnightly aunty for grocery shopping again. I woke up like 0925 for 0940 bus okay! don really know what's wrong with me nowadays I just cant get my arse out of my bed on time ish.

after all the nonsense, when I walked out of oriental store, I saw a car with a very special number plate. Being the jakun me haih, I quickly snapped a photo of the plate. While I was trying to find the best angle of the plate, a chinese guy with a gal walked near me.

At first I thought they just walked pass the car as the road is quite narrow, so I walked aside and continue minding my own business.

BUT THEN the guy, quite serious looking one, with a big box of drinks in his hands, stopped in front of me and stared at me.

I looked at him with so many qns marks on my head. The gal behind him, supposedly his gf, started giggling. The guy was still as serious and fierce. He stared at me, then looked at the car, and then looked at me again.

it was after a few microseconds later that I realised that that IS HIS FREAKING CAR!!!!!

omg and I dunno y I suddenly felt so nervous and embarrassed and I started to speak mandarin OMG. I was like "你的车啊？sorry sorry" and I ran away. Actually I didn't really run away coz coincidentally the bus came ma swt.

THAT WAS JUST SO MEMPAISEHKAN LAHHHHHH CAN SOMEBODY DIG A HOLE FOR ME COZ MY HAND WILL BE USED TO COVER MY FACE 24/7 UNTIL THE HOLE IS READY.

I totally don understand y I speak mandarin to him although he's a chinese too. But actually i'm not to be blamed too coz u should look at how fierce the guy is omg! He stared at me with his big round eyes like he's gonna swallow me into his big stomach or sth (yea he's quite fat). I should have acted hypocrite and said sth like "oh I found ur car nice/whatever shit that I can think of so do u mind I take photo to share with my friend?" haha. Okay I don think that will make him smile.

I sincerely hope that I'll NEVER bump into this guy and his gf anymore in my life, actually now I don even remember how he looks like already haha.

bcoz of u ive lost my dignity u know! ps: notice the white shoes on the left side of Honda logo, that's the gf. the leg with black leggings on the right is mine =.=

end of story. laugh la I'm used to it already =.=

anyway I've watched a sg movie recently, not the latest one though.

A Long Pte Ltd. A movie about a sissy guy gets an ah long as wife.
It is funny but the ending is like huh-finish-already-ar?-kind-of-disappointing.

then me and my house mates learn a new word "几 *insertwhateveradjectives* 一下".
几pretty一下, 几funny一下, 几surprised一下 etc etc.

the number plate incident is 几embarrassing一百下 =.=

ahh I shall off to letting my laptop to continue pissing me off. patience is a virtue u know.

My favourite project in Med school =) 11:26:00 AM

Well, we have this paper called Child and Family Study where we have to follow up the development of a baby up to 2 years, this year and the following year. As you all know, I love babies. Like.. crazily in love! Love carrying them, holding them, playing with them, smelling them and kissing them. They're just lovely lovely.

So i have been anticipating for this =) Okay,brief intro.

I was paired up with this another guy in my course and we're gonna visit our study mother and the baby together. During the visit, we are gonna write about our observations towards the baby and his living environment. There are some assessment being carried out to make sure that the baby is growing up healthily.

FUN right?

Okay,when i first met this partner of mine =.=" I didnt really like him.

The first thing he told me was

'Okay we're gonna use the least time, make the least effort but we're going get the best marks'

Apa tahi?

For me, it sounds more like

'Okay la,taichi la, just dont waste time on this shit considering the fact that our med course is so damn hectic'

But anyway, i cant change partner so i might as well try to like him.. TO MY SURPRISE, he's quite a funny and cute guy. LOL.

FYI: His family background is a bit of complicated one. Mom is a cantonese, Dad is a german, but he's born here in New Zealand.

Cameron: Hmmm, i kinda remember we have to turn right at the 2nd junction. let's go..

*i kept quiet and just followed*

Cameron: Dammit, i think we got off at the wrong stop!
Sarah : Let's ask the guy *pointed at a middle-aged guy in front of Wendy's*

Cameron: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, there's no way u want me to ask for direction. Guy's pride man!

Sarah: Ill do the asking.

Cameron: NOOO, i can bring u there. No need to ask him..

*cute but bodoh ego la k*

AFTER 40 MINUTES of walking..

Cameron: Diuuuuuuuuuuuu~~ let's call lucy (the midwife)..

Sarah: HAHAHAHAHAHA

At first he said it's too gay to take photo with the baby but he ended up taking more photos with the baby. He's been too excited LOL

He said im photogenic. WTH. Also, he said we look like the parent of the baby and coincidently i look so tired like i jz gave birth.. =.=" (who wouldnt after 40 minutes of walking?!!!)

Anyway, im glad that we worked well. He even gave me a hug when he met me in university the next day.. Ahhh,do not judge a book by its cover. He's nice after all..

1+: hairy me oh oh. 3:59:00 PM

it has been a boring week. no outing no badminton no study no talking on the phone no study hehe.

but still i have loads to blog, and this is one of them!

i finally bought my beloved kerastase leave on cream weee~~! it has been out of stock for 934786734 years okay! my hair is getting more and more straight as i've stopped applying this cream. cis.

my hair's best friends hehe

don't feel bad if u can't pronounce it properly coz i myself don't really know how to pronounce it correctly (ke-ras-tase or ke-ras-ta-se?), everytime when i need to buy one, i'll say "do u have KERAS-with silent tase?" and i bet the aussie will take me as another gal from china and forgive and pity me for can't even speak proper english wth.

okay ehem. sidetrack a bit. Kerastase is really a very good curly cream. It doesn't really make ur hair curly, if it has such marvelous power right, i wouldn't have spent rm200+ to curl my hair lah. It just that this product can maintain and make ur curly hair looks natural, no kidding okay!

before

I usually use the bain elasto-curl shampoo first, then apply elasto-curl conditioner (i assume it is) and then after bath apply some oleo-curl leave on cream and clip my hair up like chun li.

the latest oleo-curl leave on cream has this orange scent too so super nice can!

it may sound quite troublesome but hey when u get used to it, it's just as easy as peanut lor i'm sure.

haha okay I'm just kidding, that was just some light effect difference.

and u know what? i totally love my hair now. awwwww..

but then the price of kerastase products is as wonderful as its quality.

in malaysia, a 250mL of kerastase shampoo is about this.

and i'm so lucky to be in a country where everything here is ALWAYS more expensive than malaysia.

fyi, aus$36.50 x 3 = rm109.50!! yes start screaming!

yea it definitely costs me a bomb for buying them. but who cares? i love them to da max!

before coming here, there was this aunty who introduced me to this bed head product too. She told me she's using it too by showing how nice her hair is after using this but it didn't really convince me at all haha. but then i did buy one coz YES kerastase is out of stock mar.

this product is cute and nice in design. even the name is unique like "blah blah blah". it has this very nice grape/blueberry smell too, but too bad my hair feels so dry after using it. I have to admit that my hair gets more curly and in shape if i use this, but they look so fake like a wig.

so now i just abandon it somewhere on the shelf, took it out just to take photo haha. Only use it when i wake up in the morning and woo-waaa-wtf-is-wrong-with-my-hair and i have no time to do anything else to tidy up my hair.

btw, some ppl don't really agree with the beauty of my hair!

this facebook's constantly sending me this and one of them really makes me za dao.

this is soo wrong man! how could u all do this to me?!

speaking of hair, my hair loss problem is kinda solved i reckon. thanks to iron pills which can also bring side effects like diarrhoea and constipation. I mean like seriously, when the pharmacist told me that i might face these side effects, who will actually believe that one can suffer from diarrhoea and constipation at the same time?

BUT PLEASE DO NOT EVER DOUBT WHAT A DOC/PHARMACIST SAY, it really happens! I think that's the reason i'm still this thin although i eat and sleep so much like a pig lately.

and hor, besides making my hair grow back, i realise that iron pills make my hair on my hands more and more obvious! laugh as much as u want lah but i seriously think that this hair-on-hand-thickening-case somehow relates to the pills.

one day i'll become the most beautiful female orang utan with long thick curly hair if i continue taking iron pills and kerastase products haha. oh please i'm just kidding, do not realise this wish for me.

anyway this is what i've done for the past few weeks.

And me currently being addicted to library =.= YES library. But it's fun to study with my floormates (Kristian, yuko, huang, david, anish etc etc) there. Less stress i think since they are not doing the same course. Tee hee.

1- He would act like a kid who's been caught red-handed by mother whenever i found him playing facebook while studying *by sticking out his tongue*

2- He would make a serious face saying that he's gonna stay till 11pm but ended up asking me to pack my stuff at 9-ish.

3- He would msn-ed me in the library asking me not to sign in msn =.="

4- He would ask if i need him to walk me home if i happened to go library alone
*a bit syok sendiri that time*

5- He would interview me for 5 times asking me to give him different answers to make up his false survey data.

He's really fun to be with but too bad, he has got gf =.= But yeah i know, not like he would fall for me if he hadnt got a gf. Also!!!!! my mom keeps telling me "Ah gal, i prefer eating eggtart (chinese son-in-law) than sausage (caucasian son-in-law) okay"

1+: panic! in the city 10:57:00 PM

it was sooooo embarrassing.

it's like omg-so-freaking-hell-shit-embarrassing-that-i-wish-i'm-never-1+ kind of embarrassment.

well it happened that this morning i changed my mind to join the gals to go to the city AFTER they had left like one hour? so of coz then i had to take bus to the city by myself.

being such an ignorant me, i almost got lost in finding my way to harbour town. harbour town is never my fav anyway so i guess that's the main reason i don usually care how to get there by myself?

so i called yi tyeng. then only i realised that i went to the wrong way AGAIN so i had to crossed the road back to where i started.

so there was me, talking to her, while looking at the cars. and yes then when there's no car i just walked like nobody's business

YES I TOTALLY FORGOT THAT I HAVE TO LOOK AT THE LIGHT OR WHATSOEVER BEFORE CROSSING THE ROAD!

AND GUESS WHAT THERE WERE TWO FREAKING POLICE STANDING RIGHT BEHIND ME AND I'M SO SMART THAT I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THEM DESPITE THEIR SUPER HUMONGOUS BODY SIZE AND BRIGHT BLUE UNIFORM.

as i walked, i heard somebody said "hey u!" vaguely, and i would never ever thought it was a hey from the cops, and yes i was still on the phone so i just kept on walking.

just when i reached the other side of the road, they immediately came and stood in front of me. they were so huge that i went speechless although yt was trying so hard to tell me the direction.

then i ended the call and this is when everything started.
(i don't remember vividly how the conv exactly went but these are sufficient enough for the drama just now)

cops: whatcha think u're doing?
yea i said "cops" which means there were 2 of them, one guy one gal, look super strong and a bit obese.
me (VERY FREAKING SURPRISED): huh? what did i do?
cops: u didn't look at the light when u crossed the road, did u?
me: oh sorry! i din mean to do that i was talking on the phone
cops: u even saw us and heard us calling u, but u just don care right?
me (this IS totally seriously an accuse lor!): NO i din see u there! and i din know u were trying to stop me just now. i'm so sooooooory
cops: guess u'll have to pay 50bucks
me (?!&*#!@$%): 50?! but i said i'm sorry *innocent eyes are out!*
cops: yea that's what the rules say..
me: sorry i know that i shouldn't cross the road just now, really!
cops: well if u don pay everyone thinks that they can break the rules like how u did
me (pekchek and give up, thinking that whatever lah i just got my allowance anyway): but.. well okay *putting my hand into my bag, searching for my purse* but i guess i don have 50 with me now.
cops: i hope that u understand that there's no second chance for u *walk away* (note: my purse is already in my hand!)
me (surprised AGAIN): *went spellbound for a few secs then only realised that my innocence look/9283734times of sorry in 5mins helps* thanks!!!!!
cops (turned around and smiled, i mean mild-trying-to-act-cool smile)

aussie cops are strict but kind, phewww~~

luckily the policewoman is not having pms and the guy doesnt fight with his wife hahahaha.
and LUCKILY there wasn't much ppl around, esp lengcais! if not i'll just dig a hole and bury my head inside and stay there until 3498346years later when everyone forgets who's 1+. or i'll just go for a plastic surgery lah.

Chao tung tied his hair up when we're eating. So CUTE! i couldnt stop laughing sitting right in front of him listening to him.. he's as STUPID as ever. I missssssss him..

He's my favourite boy back in intec. Nop he is not handsome but he's lovely and cute. He's sitting next to me in the class and we talked almost everything. Mostly geli gross and hamsap stuff =)
he's superb in this kinda topic and i love talking about it with him. LOL.

Dont misunderstand, we are nothing like a couple. I think i am very comfortable with his companion and he's more like my brother,a twin brother ^.^
